The precious memories of babyhood can’t live in objects. We learn this when our kids outgrow their first itty bitty onesie, and then the next, and the next. If we kept everything they grew out of our houses would be filled to the brim by their first birthday. And so, we learn to let go.

Clothes are easy to pass on. Whether to a friend with a new baby, a clothing drive, or mini mioche’s partnership with Beejay May, it’s not a difficult task to throw those teeny clothes in the trunk of your messy, crumb-filled car and take them to have a second life.

Larger gear, a stroller for example, is a different story. Too big to drop in a donation box, too much of an investment to put on the curb, larger gear tends to end up in storage wasting its full potential to be reused and enjoyed (and make you some moolah!).

Enter: Rebelstork, a baby gear marketplace created for parents.

My son started Kindergarten last week and I’m using this transition as an opportunity to make room for new experiences, a new chapter, and maybe some more room in my garage. I logged in to the Rebelstork site, input the details of my beloved 2018 Uppa Baby Cruz, and booked a pick up window. I gave it a good clean and folded it up by the front door for the last time.

I greeted the lovely Rebelstork team member at my door and he whisked away the stroller. My gear is now listed on the site for sale, and my job is done! I simply wait for a buyer in the throes of another babyhood to choose our pre-loved chariot.

Rebelstork makes selling your old gear super easy. Accepting your baby isn’t a baby anymore… that’s the hard part.
